Winter Embrace from Cabernet Sauvignon
While it's cold outside but warm inside by the fire (or heater), we wanted to tell you more about our different ranges of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon
blackcurrant | bay leaf | mulberry | clove
The even temperatures, cool nights and long ripening periods provide us with excellent fruit quality, showing the characteristics of Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The appeal is the beautiful rich colour of deep crimson along with fine tannins. On the palate, the fruity aromas of black fruit, complemented by some spice flavours, make it a perfect match for hearty meat dishes. You can just imagine sipping this wine by a winter bonfire with friends.White Label Cabernet Sauvignon
dark chery | mulberry | mocha | fine tannins
The White Label Cabernet Sauvignon is more elegant and savoury than our rich, fruit driven Black label Cabernet. 2019 was a great vintage, with warmer weather during the ripening period that gave the grapes more potential to develop, so we know to expect great colour, richness, depth and varietal intensity. The smooth tannins like dark chocolate are joined by lovely blueberry and mulberry under a base of black fruit flavours, while the presence of mocha and vanilla gives a hint of sweetness without losing any intensity at all. Think of how well it would pair with venison or rich, vintage cheddar!
