We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to live and work in the Yarra Valley - with breathtaking scenery, a fascinating history and a rich viticultural tradition, there is so much to experience and to enjoy in our small pocket of the world ‒ it’s no wonder Rob set his sights on the Yarra to pursue his winemaking career.  It truly is a patchwork of sites, soils and vines. As winegrowers, we particularly relish this region's incredible diversity and great potential for quality. It is the reason we can produce four different labels, each with their own unique focus and style, united under the Rob Dolan name.  White Label

These are our flagship wines. And much like the Beatles White Album, you’ll find a number of our greatest hits here. They exemplify our distinctive Rob Dolan style, which combines premium Yarra Valley fruit from carefully selected sites with a traditional winemaking approach. We work primarily with classic Yarra varieties like chardonnay, pinot noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, with the aim of letting their regional and varietal character really shine through. The result? Authentic, extremely approachable wines that you can stash in the cellar or enjoy over you next Sunday lunch. 

Black Label

If White is for the classics, then the Black Label is where we really let our creative juices flow. This range showcases the depth of our passion for winemaking (after all, we’re really just a bunch of wine lovers at the end of the day). Made exclusively for our cellar door and on-premise customers this range makes space for discovery, often featuring ‘one-off’ parcels, alternative varieties and experimental winemaking styles. This means no two Black Label vintages are ever exactly alike. Our approach changes depending on the season, with fruit quality, availability and vintage variation guiding the way. 

 Signature Series

By now, you’ve probably guessed that an emphasis on place and people is at the heart of everything we do. This spirit is best reflected in our Signature Series, which is the culmination of Rob’s 35 years in the wine industry and his profound connection with the winemaking history and traditions of the Yarra Valley. Working exclusively with traditional Yarra varieties ‒ Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon ‒ from exceptional sites, these small batch wines are the ultimate expression of Rob and his team’s vision. 

True Colours

“Truly pairable, truly shareable .” With this range, we’ve taken one of Rob’s favourite sayings and interpreted it as wine. Bold, fruit-driven and effortlessly drinkable, the True Colours are fun-loving wines that are unapologetic about what they are: real wines made by real people. They are the perfect introduction to the Rob Dolan range and are made to be enjoyed today ‒ paired with food, or on their own with a side of good conversation.
