The 2023 vintage was cooler than average, thanks to the La Niña phenomenon. These conditions allowed for gentle ripening of Chardonnay, without any major heat spikes. This has translated to lovely acid and bright, fresh fruit characteristics.

Made with ripe, textural fruit harvested from the stunning Murrumong and Yarraland vineyards, enjoy a rounder, fuller expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Open up a bottle and enjoy with friends alongside a feast of Persian saffron roast chicken with barberry rice.

Harvest: 11th and 14th March 2023
Method: machine + hand harvested

Winemaking

Process: mix of whole bunch and berries gently pressed, high juice solids to oak for ferment
Fermentation: fermented and matured in 20% new French hogsheads for 10 months, 5% malolactic fermentation
Alcohol: 12.9%
